My Approach

About Me:

As an experienced BACP and UKCP accredited psychotherapist, my practice is grounded in a comprehensive understanding of intersectionality and the relational, emotional, and cultural contexts that shape our lived experience.

I remain committed to ongoing clinical development, staying closely informed by current research and contemporary therapeutic practice.

What I Offer:
My aim is to create a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is collaborative and attuned to your unique needs as we explore what lies beneath the surface—the emotions, patterns, and past experiences that may be shaping your present.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is a key element of the process and invite you to consider new perspectives and ways of being by creating space for inner experience. This process supports you in trusting your own inner guidance, fostering self-awareness and self-acceptance—essential elements for growth and transformative healing.

My experience, commitment to empowering others, and ability to empathise and think creatively—while maintaining self-awareness and collaboration—enable me to attune to your needs with openness and a non-judgemental stance. With a background in both the creative and financial industries, I bring an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by individuals working in those fields.

How I Work:
As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from multiple schools of psychotherapy to help you identify your core emotional challenges and support your emotional growth and therapeutic goals. I frequently integrate Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). This approach distills the most effective elements of psychodynamic therapy into a more targeted strategy to promote transformation. It emphasises our conscious and unconscious interactions with ourselves and others, with an emphasis on the experiential—because just talking about things is not enough: there must be a deeper embodiment of change that comes through the felt experience of change, rather than insight alone. This is a relatively directive approach, which means the therapist does not take a passive role but is actively engaged and works alongside you to deepen emotional processing in a safe and supportive way.
Alongside AEDP, I also draw from other modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), which provides a framework for working with distinct inner “parts” of ourselves so that we can develop integration and self-compassion; Sensorimotor and body-based practices; ACT and Mindfulness-based approaches; Gestalt chair work; and experiential inquiry, which invite us into present-moment awareness.

My approach is tailor-made for each client as I tune into your unique lived experience.

Who I Work With:
I work with individuals and couples (18+) in both short- and longer-term therapy and I support clients with a range of concerns, including:
  • Depression, anxiety, stress, and burnout
  • Trauma and emotional overwhelm
  • Relationship challenges and family/attachment dynamics
  • Identity exploration and life transitions
  • ADHD and Autism (ASD)

I have a particular interest in collaborating with neurodiverse clients and offer support to individuals facing challenges such as workplace navigation, relationship difficulties, and the grief associated with late diagnosis.

Additional Background:
My experience in the entertainment industry —where storytelling illuminates the human condition — has deepened my understanding of the conflicts and shadow aspects we all face, as well as our profound capacity for transformation.

My Approach

About Me:
I am a BACP registered integrative psychotherapist and counsellor.

What I Offer:
I am dedicated to creating a warm, collaborative space where you can explore yourself with curiosity, compassion, and care.  My training is integrative, and my approach is holistic which means I draw from a variety of resources to tailor my support to your unique story – how you are now, where you’ve been, and what truly matters to you.

Together, we can gently uncover what lies beneath the surface: emotions, patterns, and past experiences that may be shaping your present. Through this process you have the potential to discover new perspectives, deepen your self-awareness, feel more aligned with your values, and strengthen your connection to yourself and others – essential foundations for healing and meaningful change.

How I Work:
Therapy is both an art and a science — rooted in lived experience and shaped by the relational space we create together. My approach is integrative and relational, drawing from a range of modalities to meet your unique needs. At its core, I see therapy as a secure, nurturing space where you can explore your internal world with honesty and depth.

Alongside psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential modalities, I integrate methods from Gestalt therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Gestalt invites us into present-moment awareness, helping us notice how we relate to ourselves and the world around us. IFS provides a powerful framework for working with the different “parts” of ourselves — whether protective, wounded, or wise — so that we can develop greater internal harmony and self-compassion. Through these approaches, we can explore how fragmented or conflicted parts of your experience may be keeping you stuck and invite gentle integration and healing.

Who I Work With:
I work with adults (18 and over) offering both short and long-term therapy for individuals and organisations.

I support clients with a variety of issues, including:

anger, attachment, anxiety, bereavement, burnout, depression, divorce, family issues, grief, life transitions, loss, low self-esteem, money issues, perfectionism, personal development, relationships, separation, stress, trauma, work-related issues.

Additional Background:
I worked for over twenty-five years in the entertainment industry where storytelling – rich with conflict, transformation, and resolution—mirrors the personal journeys we undertake in therapy. This experience sharpened my insight into the unconscious drives and shadow aspects that shape behaviour. It also enhanced my sensitivity to emotional expression and non-verbal cues, helping me listen deeply beyond words.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I’m here to support your growth and help you find new ways of being that feel more authentic and sustainable.

My Approach

I’m a UKCP accredited Psychotherapist and my practice is grounded in my commitment to create a safe, confidential, secure, and non-judgemental environment where my clients can freely explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours at a pace that feels right for them. Creating space for inner experience enables us to trust in our own inner guidance, promoting self-awareness and self-acceptance, allowing us to consider new perspectives and new ways of being. These are essential elements for growth, and any transformative healing process.

I possess a wealth of life experience and a strong desire to assist others. I have a background in the financial and creative industries; thus, I have an in-depth understanding of the specific challenges faced by individuals working in those fields. My ability to empathise, think creatively, collaborate effectively, and maintain self-awareness allows me to attune to the needs of my clients by exhibiting a non-judgemental attitude informed by a comprehensive understanding of intersectionality.
I frequently employ Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Therapy (AEDT) in my work. This approach distils the most effective elements of psychodynamic therapy into a more targeted strategy to promote transformation, with an emphasis on the experiential – because just talking about things is not enough: there must be deeper embodiment of change that comes through feeling differently. The content is dynamic, as it emphasises our conscious and unconscious interactions with ourselves and others. This is a relatively directive approach, which means the therapist does not take a passive role and is actively engaged and collaborates in the process.

However, I am an integrative psychotherapist, which means I combine various therapeutic tools and approaches to serve the needs and goals of my clients, and to help them identify their core emotional difficulty. My approach is thus tailor-made for each client as I tune into their unique lived experience.
I have a particular interest in collaborating with clients who are neurodiverse.
